Aaron Dossett commented on ATLAS-411: ------------------------------------- [~shwethags] If I am following, you are saying that instead of adding `hadoop classpath` to the Hive bridge classpath, we should make sure that the necessary hadoop jars end up in the bridge/hive/ directory? I added the hadoop-hdfs jar, but that wasn't enough. I'm not sure what other jars are needed. > Hive bridge needs the full hadoop classpath to interact with HDFS > ----------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: ATLAS-411 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ATLAS-411 > Project: Atlas > Issue Type: Bug > Affects Versions: 0.6-incubating > Reporter: Aaron Dossett > Assignee: Aaron Dossett > Attachments: ATLAS-411.patch > > > In some cases the HiveMetastoreBridge needs to interact directly with HDFS. > For example, to read a schema file. -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.3.4#6332)
