Shwetha G S commented on ATLAS-411: ----------------------------------- Since you are adding 'hadoop classpath' is added at runtime, we don't need to bundle any hadoop jars at compile time in bridge/hive (different versions of same jars in classpath can create conflicts). For hadoop, there will be a lot of jars required and hadoop-hdfs won't be enough and adding 'hadoop classpath' is a good idea > Hive bridge needs the full hadoop classpath to interact with HDFS > ----------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: ATLAS-411 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ATLAS-411 > Project: Atlas > Issue Type: Bug > Affects Versions: 0.6-incubating > Reporter: Aaron Dossett > Assignee: Aaron Dossett > Attachments: ATLAS-411.patch > > > In some cases the HiveMetastoreBridge needs to interact directly with HDFS. > For example, to read a schema file. -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.3.4#6332)
