Hello.
I think an IRC meeting might be one of the best ways to work out the details
of all these proposals. A log would still be posted to the mailing list.
If a proposal seems to capture a general consensus during this meeting it
will be reposted to the mailing list to ensure that everyone has a chance to
review it.
During the last meeting it was suggested that Sundays may be a good time for
everyone. I'd like to propose a meeting this Sunday, April 26th 11:00 AM
UTC [1]. If that time doesn't look good, we can select another time on
Sunday [2].
I don't know if I will be able to attend since I will be on my honeymoon in
Florida but I would rather not delay this meeting any longer. Also, I hope
the individuals behind Leo's proposal would be able to attend as well.
To avoid access traffic on the lists, feel free to contact me directly at my
apache (preferred) or sony account about scheduling conflicts.
Agenda will be the review of the following proposals:
1. Leo et al.'s fork proposal
2. Promoting a new Fortress/Excalibur TLP
3. Promoting Merlin to a TLP
4. Breaking up Avalon into several TLP's:
framework + components, fortress, merlin (or some other combination)
Please be aware that the creation of TLP's would require approval by the PMC
and the ASF board.
