[~sachingoyal], thanks for the update! I found a couple more things that I 
missed last time (this is why I like pull requests better) so there are a few 
things to fix on the PR.

Then there are a couple other items:
1. Are you sure we can't get the type of a map at the top level? It seems like 
we should be able to based on the same inspection that you use in 
{{isNonStringMap(Object)}}.
2. Empty maps are assumed to be String maps; should this be an option?

I'd still prefer not to use the fingerprint, but other than risking collision 
on record names, I can't think of a much better solution. I don't think this is 
a blocker.
