ASF GitHub Bot logged work on AVRO-3236: ---------------------------------------- Author: ASF GitHub Bot Created on: 01/Feb/22 15:09 Start Date: 01/Feb/22 15:09 Worklog Time Spent: 10m Work Description: zcsizmadia commented on pull request #1375: URL: https://github.com/apache/avro/pull/1375#issuecomment-1026946254 IMO NET Framework support cannot be dropped. It is planned to be supported foo many years to come. IIRC I saw a graph which showed past 2029 (since it is tied to Windows OS support). As I said earlier, if a performance gain can be proven, a framework should be added. Honestly it should not be that hard to replace the perf project with something more up to date benchmarking framework, e.g. BenchmarkDotNet. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
