I use the docker image to build the packages, as described
[here](https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/AVRO/How+To+Release) (i.e.
`./build.sh clean test dist`) so it would be the linux build.
The way I understand, the "release" is actually the branch and the software,
while the binary artifacts are just convenient. Of course, we really do want
them to be convenient, so we can change how we build and publish these!
