Are there improvements to the release process to make the triaging of open issues easier?
I see 30 unresolved issues with fixVersion 2.3.0 in https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/BEAM-3160?jql=project%20%3D%20BEAM%20AND%20status%20%3D%20Open%20AND%20fixVersion%20%3D%202.3.0%20ORDER%20BY%20updated%20DESC The release process, https://beam.apache.org/contribute/release-guide/#create-a-new-version-in-jira indicates that all these issues will be moved to 2.4.0 if they are not resolved. Would it be better to unset the fixVersion for any issues that aren't fixed instead of moving them to the next version?
