We are working on the release of Bigtop 0.8.0 which is currently slated to
use Hadoop 2.3.0. You can find some additional details about the upcoming
release here: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/BIGTOP-1110. If you
checkout our current source code, you can already build Hadoop 2.3.0
packages (and most of the rest of the stack as planned for 0.8.0). Testing
is always important, as well as reporting and / or fixing little issues.
Depending on how familiar you already are with Bigtop, one bigger,
important item left on BIGTOP-1110 is the upgrading of Flume to 1.5.0, if
you feel like tackling that.
