(For example, we should update HBase 2.4.1+ to 2.4.13 for phoenix-hbase-compat) I'm -1 on migrating old Ambari (2.7.5) to Hadoop 3.3 as sub-task of Bigtop 3.2. It takes too much time. Since Ambari is live project now, migrating Ambari to Hadoop 3.3 should be done in Ambari project first. We may be able to cherry pick the work to old Ambari if you want. We should release Bigtop 3.2 as soon as possible since bumping Hadoop to 3.3 is quite a big change.
