Hi Joe, Can i use the codemirror and build on it for getting the syntax highlighting for the editor? It seems they have a MIT style license<http://codemirror.net/LICENSE>. And again it seems adding a new mode seems a bit easier after reading through their docs especially http://codemirror.net/doc/manual.html#modeapi. Please do respond asap as I need to submit the proposal. I'm sorry for being so late to ask this. When I asked this before there seemed to be no response. And I'm currently posting this as a proposed solution in the wiki.
As you have said, I have expanded the goals in the abstract section, and detailed the entire proposal a bit more.
