Alex Zbarcea commented on BROOKLYN-166:
---------------------------------------
Yes [~tbouron], you're right.
I choose {{codemirror}} because I was more familiar with it. I also liked that
CodeMirror seems more active (23 March 2015 vs March 2014).
I would say that the performance is very similar, and also the DOM, conventions
seem very similar.
In terms of licenses, Ace is [New
BSD|https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BSD_licenses#3-clause_license_.28.22Revised_BSD_License.22.2C_.22New_BSD_License.22.2C_or_.22Modified_BSD_License.22.29]
and CodeMirror is [MIT|https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MIT_License].
What editor would you (community) prefer?
> Use a feature rich yaml editor

> Brooklyn would benefit from a feature rich editor that would give a user more
> feedback on what is possible when editing a camp blueprint.
> The best candidate is imho codemirror, used by many apps, including swagger.
