The first release is always painful,
But it gave us an opportunity to understand the requirement for apache release
carefully.
So we will try to release the next release candidate carefully.
Hopefully, it will be done next week.

For the next release candidate you might want to consider using the work in
progress disclaimer [1] and list the licensing issue in that. Remember your
first release doesn't need to be perfect and making release helps build a
community.
