Using instructions in site/_docs/howto.md, downloaded and installed gradle-6.8.3 from https://gradle.org/releases/ <https://gradle.org/releases/>, and compiled and ran tests using Ubuntu Linux, JDK 11.0.4, Gradle 6.8.1 and 6.8.3.
