Julian, if I get it right, google hangout would automatically record the video and post it to youtube if the organizer creates hangout as "public" and associates google plus account with youtube account. What is there behind "http://www.hydromatic.net/calcite-hangout";? Is it associated with youtube? If not, don't you want recreate the event? We might want screen recording tool as a backup though.
