For spring-dm is quite impossible to use Spring 4, but Gemini Blueprint has recently added support to spring 4.x, i'm testing for some time under karaf and it works quite ok.
Maybe it's possible to change the spring-dm feature to use the BundleAware from Gemini instead of spring-dm one, should work ok.
