Hi all, as I have been dealing with the email traffic generated by especially the “discussions” integration, please also have a look at this: https://community.apache.org/contributors/mailing-lists.html#configuring-the-subject-lines-of-the-emails-being-sent We will be changing the defaults to more sensible ones on 1st of October but till then it’s important to not use the defaults.
Where would you folks be wanting to direct these emails? Hopefully not to some email-graveyard list. I would really like to see more projects having discussions that you can follow on their lists, but I can imagine that for a project of this size having all discussions on the main dev list might be a bit too much, even with optimized settings.
