Odd. I primarily tested on Mac OS 10.5.2. I've since installed 10.5.3 and
cannot reproduce what you're seeing. In fact, both the "inheritance" and
"table/view" sections have a gray background rather than the white one you
have, so I'm wondering why the LnF is different . . .
