Today, yes, don’t use CephFS for virtual machines.  We did try running CephFS 
for virtualization and it was, not fun.  The setup for pNFS with Ceph wasn’t 
CephFS on the backend but an unholy union of iSCSI/CLVM/RBD it was only for 
testing.  RBD is excellent for kvm/libvirt deployments, especially with 
Cloudstack integration.
