There is a block:/ protocol in OSGi. I haven't read OSGi specification
though - I saw it in Knopperflesh-or-whats-its-name samples.
bundle: and Knopflerfish ;)
The bundle: protocol is a bundle analogue to jar: (resource:). The
block: protocol is the block analogue to the cocoon: protocol (with a
lot of extra functionality).
