Hi,
I've slightly modified the build files in order to separate libs from
sources.
I've uploaded
http://people.apache.org/~cdamioli/cocoon-2.1.12-rc-src.zip and
http://people.apache.org/~cdamioli/cocoon-2.1.12-rc-deps.zip
to get your comments.
Does these archives correspond to Apache policy ?
Thanks for your feedbacks,
Regards,
Cédric

In the past releases of Cocoon-2.1, we included the relevant versions
of all supporting product dependencies. That is okay as a convenience.
However we need to provide a source code package which does not contain
those external JAR files, and conduct our release vote against that
package.
Then we can construct other convenience packages for distribution.
Forrest got into the same situation. Here is some background and
links to other discussion:

We solved the immediate situation but still need to adjust our build
system.
The Cocoon-2.1 Apache Ant build system should be reasonably easy to
tweak
to create separate packages.
Hi David,
I've been involved in similar discussions a while ago and I
completely agree with you.
I've opened OCOON-2330 for tracking this: who is available to help?
I do
I'll try to modify ant tasks to separate ZIP files
What we have to do is to know exactly which files are Cocoon sources
and which are not
