Hi Oliver,

first I looked at the site which reported many test errors.

Building the source tag / source dist myself using

Apache Maven 3.1.1 (0728685237757ffbf44136acec0402957f723d9a; 2013-09-17
17:22:22+0200)
Maven home: /home/tn/bin/apache-maven-3.1.1
Java version: 1.7.0_79, vendor: Oracle Corporation
Java home: /usr/lib/jvm/java-7-openjdk-i386/jre
Default locale: en_US, platform encoding: UTF-8
OS name: "linux", version: "3.13.0-63-generic", arch: "i386", family: "unix"

results in no errors:

Tests run: 2697, Failures: 0, Errors: 0, Skipped: 0

so I guess the site build is corrupted.

The rest looks fine, so considering that this is a beta release

[X] +1 Release these artifacts

Thomas
