So there is nothing I can do to convince you to install OpenJDK 11 to improve the user experience? Having multiple JDKs installed isn't uncommon though.

The javadoc was built with Java 17 and is less usable than the javadoc
generated by Java 8. I recommend building the next release with Java 8
instead.
