Sorry, but I'm a -1. I view the roadshows as mini ApacheCons. I'm also
trying to build sponsors who look at the whole year of events rather than
just AC. Especially where AC EU is in fact a roadshow.

Are you saying "can the whole idea" or are you suggesting changes to where the roadshow website lives? Throwing a -1 into it seems a bit much.

I'd likely point www.a.o/events to events.apache.org and point that to
apachecon.com.

There needs to be some consolidation, definitely.
We currently use:
- apachecon.com
- events.apache.org
- www.a.o/events/

Forgot some (my recommendations)

   https://www.apache.org/foundation/events (delete & redirect)
   https://community.apache.org/calendars/ (???)
https://wiki.apache.org/apachecon/ (edit template to have big pointer
to new homepage, since this is almost all stale)

My proposal would be:

1) move www.a.o/events to events.apache.org, make it an easy to modify
git web site
2) have apachecon.com be about apachecon only
3) Make events.apache.org the landing page we currently have on
apachecon.com that has both ACNA, EU Roadshow etc.

Big +1, with an addendum that events.a.o would have a large footer that
also pointed to the community calendar/meetups/other pages.
