Thanks, Jim. That's good to know! They didn't know if we were committed for a booth or talks or anything ...it was a bit awkward. Yes, there'd been a changing of the guard with the marketing team a few years back (hello, initial eCatalogue fiasco!), and an overall scheduling disconnect that makes participation challenging.
As for Ignasi's statement of having to continually answer the "Why are you here?" question, Jim, you and I have had our fair share of that over the past 2 decades ...it's a common one, and would likely help drive specific messaging/promotional materials for the less "usual suspect" events such as this. Something to consider when planning for future events.
