Since it's mentioned;

not including the uuid in :5984/ is a welcome oversight, butt we should fix it 
in a future release.

All nodes in the same cluster should be set to have the same uuid (the uuid is 
uniquely identifying the _cluster_). Different clusters must have different 
uuids. But because each node will generate a uuid on startup if it's missing, 
it's fortunate we didn't add it to the welcome message yet.
