Did you ever get this to work? I see the bug is still open, and no update
there.
Is there a way to work around this? It appears when the file size of teragen
is large,
then crail just hangs when starting the sort. I’ve also tried to do it in
parts,
with the same results.

Daemonize the keepalive thread to allow applications to
exit when the main method returns without closing the
storage client explicitly. For example, Spark has this
requirement.
