Thanks for looking at the patch Josh. I've tried to make the suggested change.
I'm unable to decide whether to have multiple writers or keep it the way it's
being done.
Also, it seems AvroPathPerKeyTarget can also run into the exceptions I was
seeing. Should we be using committer work path there as well?
