I suspect the UMLS team means that the ( https://uts-ws.nlm.nih.gov/restful/isValidUMLSUser ) URL is not valid for a person to type into a browser. Without having seen their full email, that's the best I can surmise.
When I look at the URL that they mentioned that has documentation ( https://uts.nlm.nih.gov/help/license/validateumlsuserhelp.html ), that page does state that the ( https://uts-ws.nlm.nih.gov/restful/isValidUMLSUser ) URL is the correct one for *applications* to use. Have you tried to verify your user ID and password by logging into the following: https://utslogin.nlm.nih.gov/cas/login On Tue, Jul 24, 2018 at 5:06 AM, Jain, Ritika <[email protected]> wrote: > Ken, > > The end point in the ctakes 4.0 for CVD is not a valid end point, I wrote > to UMLS to confirm and this is what they have replied to me > > > That endpoint (documented here: > https://uts.nlm.nih.gov/help/license/validateumlsuserhelp.html > is not meant for end users, so it will not work with your license code and > username. > > Ritika > > > > -----Original Message----- > From: Gandhi Rajan Natarajan <[email protected]> > Sent: Tuesday, July 24, 2018 12:52 PM > To: [email protected] > Subject: RE: UMLS credentials don't seem to let me run UMLS process XML > files > > Hi Ken, > > Similar issues are creeping up very frequently off late.
