I did figure out the answer to my problem. For anyone who might find it helpful. . . I had to do the following: 1. Make sure that saaj-api.jar and saaj-impl.jar were loaded ahead of any IBM stuff. 2. Make sure that jaxp-ri jar was loaded instead of IBM jars. Thanks, Tom
