Libs like commons, play servlet support, deltaspike, log4j2 just to cite very few just for servlet (but same applies for each spec, microprofile has the same issue for ex). In other words 3rd parties didnt follow. Grep github to check it, just active projects within the year. Most servers solved it by relocation to say they support jakarta but they keep javax as mainstream.
