Thanks Russell! I've been working on a script that will make testing multiple
versions easier. It looks like the tests pass for almost all the combinations -
on Spark 2.1.x there's a hiccup, but I'm looking into it. Once I have this
ready I'll push it and go through your comments on the pull request.
