[~russell.jurney] - I agree in principle, but spark-testing-base doesn't
support 2.12 yet. I can check how difficult it will be to switch from it, but I
don't think we should wait with our merge/release for this. Based on [this pull
request in that
project|https://github.com/holdenk/spark-testing-base/pull/275], it looks like
they will support it soon and then we can upgrade and get it for "free" (or
nearly free)
