Joseph J. VLcek commented on DTACLOUD-487:
------------------------------------------
Supporting for passing ssh keys via config disk layout for cloud-init to
consume would conflict with how user data is currently being handled for
CloudForms, Config-Server/Audrey-Agent. Passing user data via one file and ssh
key data via a disk layout in a separate vm payload would require updates to
cloud-init to know to look for the optional 2nd file.
If the CloudForms, Config-Server/Audrey-Agent were not to be used
simultaneously with the key data injection
via a config disk layout, it would be possible to inject the key data via the
current vm payload user data
path cloud-init.

> I had a chat with mfojtik in IRC about being able to add keypair support to
> ovirt. He felt we could add a hook that would allow us to inject a keypair
> into the instance on startup. I do not know enough about ovirt yet to know
> how this would work but I wanted to document this. Lack of keypair support
> is a major obstacle for heat integration with deltacloud+ovirt.
