For the record, the problem we fixed with the Kerberos protocol was that if you disabled a user (a simple boolean in the user principal schema), it wouldn't return the correct error message. Alex added a conditional check to the Kerberos workflow to return the right Kerberos error. Alex will be demoing some UI at JavaOne and one of the features is disabling accounts.
