I wasn't sure which list to post this to, but I would formally like to request that 2.4.3 be put back on the mirrors. there are still customers I have who are still using windows 9x/me who need it. many computer recycling facilities put together machines, and this would be great for them if they so decide to start using OpenOffice.org on such machines, since it is the only office package left that can still run on the machines.
Java 1.5_09 + OpenOffice.org 2.4.3 should run fine on windows 98/me. If you know of the latest java version which will run on 98/me, please let me know so I can rebuild my OpenOffice.org office+productivity suite. I will bet that people don't know that 2.4.3 runs on windows 98/me.
