The original idea behind keeping the two lists was to have one list for the
philosophical discussions that were so "well-loved" at the time of that
creation, and one list for the discussions about the actual work of
monitoring diversity at Apache and proposing interventions.

People weren't very good at conforming to the intended pattern, and the
philosophical discussions seem to have mostly died down.  I don't think
anyone will miss the loss of diversity@ now.
