Daniel, that's why I added "maybe I got you wrong and you don't mean the tunnel itself but the administrative ato get the tunnel running". > That's a major understatement from my point of view. Even if you use windows, I don't see where the problem is (did not follow the discussion). >From my POV these instructions are very detailed.. Don't take this personal, but people always complain "this is to complicated" but usually don't tell what exactly causes the trouble. > I felt a lot better when Daniel told me even he had trouble getting set up. I would not count to much on that one... Sure he tried to set it up much earlier, there has not been the documentation as it is there now. Getting the information was way harder than it is now. My experience is that the only problem is that people try to connect using the tunnel before their key is uploaded to the server causing the attemt to connect to fail (and any action tried after that failed connection). > >2) You also implicitly assumed that the user has a Unix-like system, which > >many don't. When using cygwin, you have all the comfort that a unix-shell offers. ciao Christian -- NP: Terrorgruppe - Drivel --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
