I mentioned a few weeks ago that some user guide chapters revised for V3 will soon be coming available. A few now are close to ready, and I intend to have all of the Getting Started guide chapters available by the release date for OOo3 itself, at least in PDF. (Bringing the draft wiki pages up to date will take a bit longer, as will production of a full book with index.)
So, it is now time for you to tell me where I should put the PDFs of these chapters on the Docs website. I suggest a subdirectory under /manuals called userguide3. Thus the index page would be: http://documentation.openoffice.org/manuals/userguide3/index.html Of course, appropriate changes would be needed on the main Docs page and others, to point people to the v3 docs, but my concern now is simply where I should upload the PDFs when they are ready.
