Of course, appropriate changes would be needed on the main Docs page
and others, to point people to the v3 docs, but my concern now is
simply where I should upload the PDFs when they are ready. I don't
want to disrupt any plans you may have that I don't know about (or

I created the directory in CVS based on your suggestion, and placed a
temp index.html in there as a placeholder. You should be able to
add/commit whatever PDfs you have to that new directory.
Once the docs are available, I can link things up and change the parent
pages to point to the right docs etc.
