I'm just beginning to use social networking sites (LinkedIn and Facebook, at
this point) to try to encourage contributors. I'm asking for short-term help
on specific topics, rather than a more general approach ("we always need more
help").
While I'd love to have more people taking responsibility for writing whole
chapters, the immediate need is to fill in some gaps in the user guides in
areas that I have little or no experience with.
I'll let you know if anything useful comes out of this experiment.
