Hi all
I'd like to propose the first release candidate (RC0) of Apache Drill,
version 1.22.0.
The release candidate covers a total of 30 resolved Jira issues [1]. In
addition, numerous library upgrades are included and Java 8 support is
dropped in favour of the addition of Java 21 support. Java 8 compatible
custom Drill builds remain possible for users who download the source
distribution. Thanks to everyone who contributed to this release.
The tarball artefacts are hosted at [2] and the Maven artefacts are
hosted at [3].
This release candidate is based on
