Srikanth Sundarrajan commented on FALCON-752:
---------------------------------------------
Yes [~svenkat], the logs dir indeed has 777 and it should fine, why not create
logs dir (though created by falcon) to be owned by the user, that way it is
secure and private to the user and falcon can read it as well. I feel that is
far more cleaner and secure. In the current scheme of things logsDir is world
readable.
I generally have an issue with logsDir being inside the appVersion specific
stagingDirectory (At least I think that is how it is, correct me if I am
wrong). With every update the logs dir is unreachable for the prior versions.
This has to be fixed. [~shwethags], [~samarthg], Can you confirm if this is the
behavior ? If so this ought to change.
> Override the permissions for staging and working dirs with 755
