In the past we discussed a few times about moving felix to git. A while ago we did this step for Aries and it was simpler than anticipated. The problem in Aries were the remaining small bundles and subprojects that were released by bundle. The larger sub projects were already moved out to separate git repos a while ago.
So the situation was very similar to felix. In the end we opted for the simple solution of just migrating the full repo to git with the help of the infra team. This works quite fine since then.
