Heyo, I had a thought today while working with the installer. When I run the SDK installer i always get as far as installing the SDK and then realized I forgot to start the installer with administrator privileges. I need admin privileges, because I install my sdks into the program files directory for Flash Builder along side the other SDKs. Once i get there I have to close the installer and re-launch with admin privileges.
Maybe we can have the installer "challenge" working with the target destination, and if admin privileges are required, then prompt the user to elevate their privileges. That way for those users that do target directories that require admin privileges, they will be prompted to escallate their privileges right then, rather then having them start over. This type of change wouldn't affect users who do not target those directories. Chris
