>To make sure I understand correctly, I will have the 3 legal documents >(icla, grant, and corporate) signed by an authority in our company (eg. >CFO or V.P. Products) The ICLA is for you. It says that you, personally, understand the rules under which you are participating. You sign it and send it in. The CCLA is for your corporation so Apache knows your company knows you are contributing. Someone with authority at your company must sign it. These two documents are needed to become a committer (you only need the ICLA if you don't work for a corporation). The Software Grant is the contract/license to use the software being donated. This is a separate transaction from the ICLA/CCLA pair. For example, TLF was donated but none of its engineers became committers. BTW, your corporation still owns the software and retains copyright (more or less), but your corporation is granting a license for Apache to do whatever it wants with it. An authority in your company signs that as well, but put yourself in as the contact so you can find out when the document is recorded at Apache, so you can remind me if I miss the notification email from the secretary. And yes, the secretary will accept scanned PDFs via email. Hope that makes sense. And thanks again. -Alex > >And then send the scanned printed docs to secret...@apache.org, through >regular email. > >Is that OK? > >Maurice > >-----Message d'origine----- >De : Frédéric THOMAS [mailto:webdoubl...@hotmail.com] >Envoyé : mardi 24 septembre 2013 23:03 >À : dev@flex.apache.org >Objet : RE: Flex Mobile DataGrid donation submission > >Or Alex, did you mean he doesn't need to send it until the Software Grant >is executed ? > >-Fred > >-----Message d'origine----- >De : Frédéric THOMAS [mailto:webdoubl...@hotmail.com] Envoyé : mardi 24 >septembre 2013 23:00 À : dev@flex.apache.org Objet : RE: Flex Mobile >DataGrid donation submission > >Oh, just answered but in private :P > >Remains 2 little things to do and I guess you can send the zip back to >the ticket. > >-Fred > >-----Message d'origine----- >De : Maurice Amsellem [mailto:maurice.amsel...@systar.com] >Envoyé : mardi 24 septembre 2013 22:44 >À : dev@flex.apache.org >Objet : RE: Flex Mobile DataGrid donation submission > >Fully agree, I will not add the "Systar" headers, until you add the final >Apache headers. >As you say, the code does not have to be public. > >I just sent an update to Fred, with the changes he asked and a bug fix >following the latest refactoring. > >I will let him get back to his work. > >Maurice > >-----Message d'origine----- >De : Alex Harui [mailto:aha...@adobe.com] Envoyé : mardi 24 septembre 2013 >22:27 À : dev@flex.apache.org Objet : Re: Flex Mobile DataGrid donation >submission > >Hi Maurice, > >Thanks for spending time cleaning up the code a bit.
