Changes from RC1 include: - minor README and RELEASE_NOTE changes - corrections to 480 and 640 dpi skins - removed test directory from asdocs - fixes to installer script to install both FP global 11.9 and 11.1 - correction to Mustella tests (not included in release) And bug fixes for these issues: FLEX-33823 Certain DateField format strings causes null value in selectedDate FLEX-33820 Cutted text after pasting it from MS Excel in spark TextInput FLEX-33819 fontswf.bat error line 19 FLEX-33818 Spark Datagrid column resize and sort bug when releasing mouse outside of headers FLEX-33813 Datagrid goes blank when assigning new dataProvider.source and calling refresh There are a few new things that would be nice for people to test out, including: - New mobile datagrid - New 120 and 640 dpi skins - Many datagrid improvements - OSMF 2.0 support - Minor ASDoc changes (experimental tag and examples) Please indicate when voting if you tested any of these features out. There is a known bug in Adobe Flash Builder 4.6 and 4.7 that causes a issue when creating new applications. Adobe has provided a work around for FB 4.7 but not for 4.6. The release candidate can be found here; https://dist.apache.org/repos/dist/dev/flex/sdk/4.11.0/rc2/ Before voting please review the section,"What are the ASF requirements on approving a release?", at: http://www.apache.org/dev/release.html#approving-a-release At a minimum you would be expected to check that: - MD5 and signed packages are correct - README, RELEASE_NOTES, NOTICE and LICENSE files are all fine - That you can compile from source package - That the SDK can be used in your IDE of choice - That the SDK can be used to make a mobile, desktop and browser application When testing please check the md5 and asc files and make sure that the source can be compiled. Please vote to approve this release: +1 Approve the release -1 Veto the release (please provide specific comments to why) This vote will be open for 72 hours or until a result can be called. The vote passes if there is: - At least 3 +1 votes from the PMC - More positive votes than negative votes Votes are being carried over from the previous RC as there has only been minor changes between RCs. If you voted previously and wish to remove your vote from this release (for whatever reason) just indicate so in this thread by changing your vote to +0 or -1 if you have a good reason.
