Mike, Thrift is available via Apache Maven central starting in v0.6.1 (released
April 2011). Also wireline compatibility has not changed, allowing a v0.5
client to talk with the current 0.8 and the upcoming 0.9 release versions. If
you need help maintaining a Thrift server or client please let me know and I
would be glad to help
