could probably take a look to the issue

Please see my last comments in the issue regarding the way it could be
implemented nowadays. As we have discussed on the last IRC meeting, I
will be on vacation until Januar 4, so you could probably get familiar
with the current implementation during this time. The patch points to
the location that should be changed, although, as I have written in my
comment, the patch does not solve all the problems and produces new one.
The correct approach would be to reimplement picklist in the way that it
is called directly from the dispatch API.
