I agree with Matt. If you want to call it an "Installation document", then it must be geared towards the users installing Geronimo. They care little about building it. They would be the ones downloading the binaries and wanting to get G up and running quickly.

The steps being discussed in this thread should go in something like a "Developers Section" .
