Sorry it has taken me a while to get to this. As [~lewismc] said the main
opportunity would be to expand datastore support, but, as you have already
realized, HazelCast is a different case as you won't be "serializing" anything
into disc. I think this is a good opportunity to revise the way we "persist"
data into the backends.
IMHO a big TODO for this project and what it will make this project more
interesting is to run GORA-CI against this new module and see how long it is
taking GORA to actually persist everything into the backends. In this way, we
can see if our AVRO serializing method was a good choice or if maybe we should
start looking into different ways of serializing stuff (plain java
serialization, protocol buffers, partquet, etc.).
